After coming back from New Zealand -- "A Journey to Middle Earth" -- we wrote our trip's memo at the online forum to share the experience for travelers in the cyber space. We posted the story right at the same place we used to search for New Zealand information before making a journey in order to repay other friends (in the community) who would be the next generation of New Zealand travelers. After describing the tale, a book-editor from "TIB - Thai Inter Book" found our story and contacted us to make a pocket book about the experience of our New Zealand trip.

As soon as receiving a message from the editor, we took a few days to make this crucial decision. Because loving of expedition and adventure, at a hidden part of our mind, we used to dream about having our own traveling pocket book for a long long time. And now, the chance had come pretty close to us, just waiting for our answer. Anyway, it was such a difficult determination since we were not confident about our writing skill. Moreover, we were so afraid if finding out that people would not favor or buy our book. It might be very terrible if the book sales are not going well. However, at the end, we took this chance to fulfill our dream and answered "yes" to the editor.

During a few months of writing this pocket book, though we did not know our destiny, we had worked so hard to complete and tried as good as possible. Making corrections again and again because we were quite amateur as a writer, we finally finished all every part of the book. After sending all story to the editor, it took a couple more months to work on proofreading and graphic designing.

Around the end of February, the editor sent us the final draft to re-check for the last time. As soon as receiving the draft, we were so excited since our dream almost came true. After attaching all pictures and graphic work in the story, now it seemed like we were reading a "New Zealand Guidebook", 100% written by us. We tried to finish the final check as soon as possible (about five days, all days and nights like working in the factory to complete 400 pages more or less in total) before returning to the editor. After that the editor would re-check again for the last time and sent the master copy to the printing house. From this step, we had to wait (again) for 7-10 days while the book on the process. During this 7-10 days (about the early of March), we felt like it was so long since the time had passed so slow. And a couple day after the mid of March, the editor called us again and told us that our pocket book's printing process had been done. And all of them would be sent to the store house of "Amarin Printing & Publishing Company Limited", one of the biggest publishing group in Thailand, before distributed through out the country. Surely, the editor would give us one sample book at this time via the mail first.

Finally, today we have got the pocket book sent right to our home in Chiang Mai in the morning. We are so excited while trying to open the envelope. As soon as finding the "real one" in our hand, both of us are very happy after working hard and wait for months. At the end, the dream about having owned the pocket book becomes real.

However, we have only one day to watch and hug this book. A few days from now will be our mom birthday and with no doubt the book would be the big surprise from both of us since no one in our family has known about this pocket book even a hint. We just take pictures together with our book before giving to the mom.

"Yeah!" ... And this is all of the story. From now, we just keep a bit waiting for the book to be sent to the bookstore in Chiang Mai -- ""M&O" on the Shelf".
